Situated on the North Coast of America and the southern shore of Lake Erie, northeastern Ohio residents are treated to four distinctive seasons of climatic variety, color and pageantry.

Lake Erie’s summer winds offset severe seasonal heat while maintaining moderate temperature ranges in early winter. Sunny, crisp, autumn weather frequently lasts into November. Autumn’s are vibrant, spring blossoms with sunny days and sweet floral fragrances, and winter scenes are white-capped and breath-taking, particularly in the rolling, wooded terrain of the eastern part of the region, in Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake Counties, affectionately known as the snow belt.
